Is your child ready to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit? St. Gerald's Confirmation preparation is a 2-year program beginning in 7th grade. We have moved from the classroom to a small group, conversational setting. To ensure an immersive experience, we kindly request the participation of parents in the preparation process.

7th graders begin the first semester with the Alpha Youth course. In the second semester, they dive into Scripture using the Great Adventure Bible Study series for middle-schoolers called Encounter.

8th graders will use Dynamic Catholic's Decision Point Confirmation series and meet in small groups with Confirmation mentors.

Important information and dates:

• Fall sessions begin Wed. Sept. 9, from 6:15 - 7:30 PM at Lakeview.

• Parents: Look for opportunities for your child to complete their service requirements so reflections can be completed on time.

• Confirmation retreat  - Sunday, November 21, 2026
• Parents: Help your child select a patron Saint and a sponsor. Download, print, and complete the Confirmation Information Form and the Sponsor Validation Form. 
• Confirmation Rehearsal and Mass - Tentative dates are April 16, April 19, or April 26. Dates may change based on the availability of the Archbishop.

REGISTRATION and TUITION

Please complete the online registration form for all of your family's children in grades K-8, including those participating in sacramental preparation. Please note that we have updated our tuition system to a scaled system. 

• The first child is $150
• The second child is an additional $100
• The third child is an additional $50. 
• The maximum fee for a family is $300.

We welcome all children and will not turn anyone away. If you're having financial difficulties, please contact Teresa Zamora prior to registering your family's children.

We offer catechists and leaders a 50% tuition discount. Before registering, contact Teresa Zamora for coupon information.

If you purchase H.O.P.E. certificates, you can use your credits towards your Faith Formation tuition. Contact the parish office at 402-331-1955 to purchase and apply credits.
